Margaret Shaw, Managing Director of Shaws, having a vast experience in the service industry, saw the need for service to be applied to the property market and set up this office in 1994. She firmly believed that an independent agent was much needed in the area and Palliser Road has proved to be the ideal location. The stress involved in selling and purchasing property needs careful handling and it is the aim of this company to lessen the burden of it as much as possible. Our clients are uppermost in our minds and we are dedicated to serving them. We specialise in the local area with properties 5-10 minutes walk from our office. Properties in the area are mainly Victorian conversions, although there are still some remaining independent large houses. There are also several purpose built Victorian Mansion Blocks, in particular Queens Club Gardens which comprises 33 blocks housing 553 Mansion flats, alphabetically named (all writers, poets and artists) and set around its own communal gardens and tennis courts.
